Gordon County Cooperative Extension
Through county Extension offices, the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and
Environmental Sciences help residents of Georgia become healthier, more productive, financially
independent and environmentally responsible. Learning for Life every day occurs through the
cooperative funding of federal, state and county governments.
Almost 100 years after the creation of Cooperative Extension, we are still a grassroots organization working with and for people to improve their quality of life.
Mission
Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.
