4-H Youth Development
Elementary School - Cloverleaf 4-H Club
The 4-H Club partners with the Board of Education in accordance with the Georgia Performance Standards to bring 5th graders an educational program that focuses in two main areas: public speaking and hands-on science activities. Fifth graders will present a project in class choosing from a list of 50-60 different project areas. They will also have an opportunity to compete in our County Project Achievement Competition each January. If they place 1st or 2nd place at the county competition, they will then be able to compete at our District Project Achievement at Camp Rock Eagle.
Fifth graders will also have fun in their classes rooms learning through hands-on science based programming where they will learn about soil, rocks, plants classification, inherited traits, microbes and the Georgia Barrier Islands.
