Food Preservation Class:"Preserve Now to Enjoy Later"

Enjoy the bounty of your garden into the fall and winter months! Learn food preservation techniques especially for relishes, salsas, jam and jellies and seasoned vinegars. The morning session will feature making jams and jellies and preparing vegetables for relishes. In the afternoon, we’ll make a sweet relish and a hot pepper relish. Since we anticipate a bumper crop of tomatoes, we’ll make a salsa for you to enjoy. Adding a splash of flavored vinegar to food is a way to enhance taste, so we’ll make several flavored vinegars using herbs from the home garden.
The cost for the class will be $25.00. You will receive a packet of food preservation information targeting the topics included in the class.

ServSafe® Manager Course: 2 full days of class for managers concluding with certification exam.
Pre-registration is required. A $140.00 registration fee is required with completed registration form. Deadlines for registration are approximately 1 month before the scheduled class date. Registration form may be obtained by clicking on link below.
Operation EATERY: This is a one day class for employees involved in food service. Pre-registration is required. Class is FREE.
