What is 4-H?

4-H is part of the University of Georgia's Cooperative Extension in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.4-H helps young people acquire knowledge, develop life skills, and form attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society through "hands-on" learning experiences.

4-H Emblem

The emblem is a four-leaf clover with the letter "H" on each leaf. The letters in the emblem represent; Head, Heart, Hands and Health.

4-H Motto

4-H Pledge

"I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
my heart to greater loyalty,
my hands to larger service,
and my health to better living
. . . for my club, my community, my country and my world.

Volunteer Information

Volunteers are a very important part of our 4-H Program. For more information on becoming a volunteer contact our office.

Important Forms

For every 4-H activity or event, 4-H's are required to submit a Code of Conduct form and a Medical Release form signed by a parent or guardian.Click below for the forms .
