Our Mission
The mission of Liberty County Agriculture & Natural Resources program is to teach people how to improve their use of plants, animals and the environment. We assist individuals in making critical decisions concerning their lives, their businesses, and their communities. We cultivate knowledge and identify emerging needs, provide unbiased, researched information; and facilitate partnerships to better serve the citizens of Liberty County.

May 1 ServSafe® Manager Certification Training and Exam We provide Georgia's food service industry with food safety training using the National and Georgia Restaurant Associations ServSafe® Manager program. We hold the ServSafe® Manager course and test multiple times per year and proctor additional exams by request. We can also provide ServSafe® Food Handler training. The ServSafe® Manager workshops include the latest textbook, study materials, exam session, light refreshments, and 1 day of instruction. We will break for lunch at around noon. $150.00 per person. To have your textbook mailed to you, pay an additional $10.00 - otherwise books must be picked up at our office. May 2 Vermiculture, Let’s Worm Our Way Into This Composting (Virtual Series) Vermicomposting is an eco-friendly way of reducing waste and creating nutrient-rich soil compost and liquid fertilizers with the use of worms. You can raise these red wigglers indoors or outdoors in very small spaces with very little maintenance. Lisa Klein teaches attendees all about this technique and you might even win a starter worm pack of your own!
