4-H Youth Development
4-H Clubs

Horse Club

Love horses? 4-H has a club for you! You don't have to own or know how to ride a horse to join. Members learn about horse care, training, safety, and teamwork. 4-H members age 5 and older are eligible to join. Parents must stay with youth at the meetings. There is a $10 membership fee to join which covers accident insurance and some supplies associated with activities. For more information, contact Joni Everitt, Club Volunteer Leader at (229) 740-9890.

Next Meeting:
Sunday, October 23
2:30 p.m.
Contact Ms. Joni for meeting location.

Other Meeting Info :

4-H'ers will learn more about how to evaluate a horse based on the physical soundness of its frame. Horse judging is an excellent educational opportunity for youth to develop reasoning and critical thinking skills while working together as a team.
