What Is 4-H?
Georgia 4-H, a partner in public education, is youth and adults learning, growing and working together to experience and accomplish the extraordinary.

4-H Club Colors
GREEN which stands for springtime, life, and youth and
WHITE which stands for purity.
Who Is Eligible?
Any youth ages 9-19 are eligible. Children who are in 2nd - 4th grades are eligible to join our Cloverbuds Club. Some 4-H activities are age restricted.
When Are The 4-H Meetings?
5th grade 4-H members who enrolled in the Lowndes County and Valdosta School systems, or some private schools, have monthly in-school meetings. Monthly meetings for middle school 4-H members are held after school. High school members meet before school.
Does It Cost Anything To Join?
4-H membership is free; however, some optional activities may charge a nominal fee.
4-H Lingo 
Cloverbuds: 2nd-4th grade 4-H'ers
Cloverleafs: 5th-6th grade 4-H'ers
Juniors: 7th-8th grade 4-H'ers
Seniors: 9th-12th grade 4-H'ers
Collegiate 4-H'ers: 4-H'ers who are in college
Extension Agent: University of Georgia faculty who specialize in Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, or 4-H.
Program Assistant: University of Georgia staff who provides support to the Extension Agents and the 4-H program.
Volunteer Leaders: Interested parents who donate their time to the 4-H program
