Who Is Eligible?
Lowndes County 4-H is open to all youth in grades 1 through 12. As long as the child lives and/or attends school in Lowndes County, he/she may join. 1st - 4th graders are eligible to join our Cloverbuds Club. Some 4-H activities are age restricted due to the level of activity and/or may require parental supervision.
When Are The 4-H Meetings?
5th grade 4-H members who enrolled in the Lowndes County and Valdosta School systems, or some private schools, have monthly in-school meetings. Monthly meetings for middle school 4-H members are on Club Days before school. High school members meet after school in the evenings. Click here to see if there is a meeting at your school! If not, be sure to join County Council - our county-wide club meeting for all youth and parents interested in Lowndes County 4-H!
Does It Cost Anything To Join?
4-H membership is free; however, some optional activities may charge a nominal fee.
