Mission: To assist University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension by training Master Gardener Extension Volunteers to provide unbiased horticultural information through volunteer community service and educational gardening projects using applied research and the resources of the University of Georgia.
Goals:
- To assist County Extension staff in their support of local Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer programs
- To promote horticultural education through the development of community outreach projects
- To encourage appreciation and conservation of the environment
- To educate the public in responsible gardening practices
