Fair Contests

During the year there are numerous fairs around Georgia. Our members often compete in events related to their own interests. This might be a best vegetable or sweetest jam or just about any "county fair" category imaginable.

Calhoun Fair Produces Pickens Winners

We were fortunate to have good representation at the Fair this year. The following gallery shows some of our participation.

Thomas Roper won 7-1st place and 1-2nd place with various canned food items

Austin Ledbetter 1st place with exhibit of Sweet Cowhorn Peppers

William Roper won 6-1st place, 1-2nd place and 1-3rd place with various canned food items

Justin Fellenbaum won 1st place with a jar of vegetable soup

Elizabeth Adams won 1st place with homemade blanket and hand towel and 2nd place with hand towel

Christina Farron won 1-2nd place with a portrait, 3-1st place with canned food items, and 3-2nd place with canned food items, 1st place with exhibit of muscadines and 1st place with exhibit of apples
