County Coordinator
James Jacobs started working with Pierce County Extension January 1, 2007. He began his career with Extension in 1995 as Research Coordinator I in Tifton, Georgia. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from UGA in August, 1995 and a Master's Degree in Agricultural Extension from UGA in May, 2001. James brings a wide variety of education and many years of experience to Pierce County. He assists homeowners and farmers throughout our county through farm visits, face-to-face contacts, meetings and telephone calls.
