To assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing lifeskills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing citizens.
Events & Activities
Forestry Judging
Our first ever foresty judging team took third place at the competition on September 2, 2009 at the Gordonia-Altamaha State Park near Reidsville GA. Congratulations to the team: Truman Brodnax, David Chapman, Jordan Collins, Nicole Collins, Evan Conners, Hunter Copelan, Peyton Johnson, Christian Leftwich, Nolan Lynch, Jonathan Mitts, Samantha Mitts and Cassie Sommer.
Consumer Judging
Come join the consumer judging team where you'll learn how to make good consumer choices. You'll get to go shopping as well as travel to the competition in Perry! We'll be judging breakfast bars, pajama pants, sleeping bags and student credit cards this year. Practice will be each Monday and Wednesday. The last day to join in October 21st.

Dairy Show Team
Our Dairy Show Team has already started showing this year! If you interested in showing dairy cows, give us a call and we'll get you in contact with Ms. Joan Parker, our Dairy Show Team Coach!
Horse Club
If you are interested in learning about horses, even if you don't have a horse, you'll want to consider the Putnam County 4-H Horse Club. If you're interested, give us a call to sign up! Ms. Peggy Clark is our horse club leader.
Madison Lions Club Fair
The Madison Lions Club Fair will be held October 13 - 17, 2009 in Madison. You can cook, make a poster, take a picgture or makes an arts and crafts item. Check out the flyer for more details. Click here for an entry form. You'll need a separate entry form for each entry.
Cloverleaf Fall Dance
The first dance of the year will be on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 at the Putnam County 4-H Office. Cost will be $5 or five bulldog bucks. You must have a permission slip to enter. Click here for a flyer, which includes the permission slip.

Forms
- Medical Release Form & Code of Conduct Form are required for each activity.
- Interested in being an adult chaperone? Effective January 1, 2009, all volunteers must be certified, which includes a background check. Complete the Volunteer Application form. Then give us a call to discuss the required training!
General Info
We are located in the old National Guard Armory Building, 663 Godfrey Highway, Suite 101. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are closed from noon till 1:00 p.m. for lunch.
