4-H Youth Development
General Information
4-H is one of the largest youth development programs in the United States. Georgia 4-H provides educational opportunities and life skill development experiences throughout the state. Georgia 4-H reaches over 182,000 young people each year.
In Rabun County, youth in grades 5-12 may enroll as members in a club and choose projects that interest them. These youth develop many workforce skills while working on their projects, including leadership, decision-making, record keeping, public speaking, and teamwork.
