Justin's Garden

Welcome to my garden! The purpose of this site is to provide up-to-date information on vegetable gardening and to announce classes and other events that Rabun County Cooperative Extension and our partners will be offering to the public. My demonstration garden occupies 800 square feet at Glory Seeds Farm, which is a non-profit founded by Kimberly Buck and Larry Jensen. This season, I’m growing radishes, green beans, pole beans, southern peas, cucumbers, melons, winter squash, peppers, tomatoes, herbs and more. Every two weeks, I hold classes at the farm to demonstrate sustainable gardening techniques designed to minimize watering, waste, and work, while maximizing your productivity and enjoyment. Half of the produce grown in this garden is donated to families who are struggling financially. I hope you enjoy this website, and I hope that you will contact me with your gardening questions in the future!
