North Georgia Vegetable Grower's Seminar
The Annual North Georgia Vegetable Grower’s Seminar is typically held at the Dillard House in March. It is sponsored by Rabun County Produce Growers Association, University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, UAP/Carolinas and several chemical companies.
This seminar is designed to bring commercial growers the most up-to-date, region specific information available on growing and marketing their crops.
Richard Carver with UAP and several specialist from The University of Georgia and North Carolina State University give presentations which include chemical updates, disease, insect and weed control, vegetable diseases, new tomato releases, and variety updates.
Georgia Department of Agriculture also gives update credit for holders of Commercial and Private pesticide applicators licenses.
