Volunteer Opportunities

4-H Key HHHHVolunteer with 4-H!!!! Through 4-H there are many opportunities for parents and other adults in the community to work with youth, from coaching a judging team, to going to summer camp as an adult leader, to chaperoning an entire group at an event.

Volunteers are a welcome addition to our 4-H family, and we are always looking for good volunteers to help with our various programs. If you can help, please follow the steps below.

Volunteer Chaperone/Leader Requirements:

All adults supervising youth in Extension service programming must complete the following requirements.

All leaders chaperoning youth overnight must complete the 4-H Certified Overnight Chaperone training program. The program requirements include:

  • Complete the above listed screening requirements.
  • View 4-H Certified Overnight Chaperon Training Video.
  • Read the Overnight Chaperone Handbook.
  • Watch the Overnight Chaperone Training videos - scroll to the bottom of the page and there are six sections that you will need to view.
  • Certified Overnight Chaperone Agreement completed; signed by trainer & leader.
