4-H Youth Development - Giving Back
Sumter County 4-H programs are made possible by generous donations, sponsorships, fundraisers and volunteer service. Please consider supporting our local youth this year as they strengthen their life skills through 4-H activities.

Sponsorships:
Please consider supporting our local youth by giving them the opportunity to participate in extra events to better themselves. Sponsorships are needed to help youth attend summer camp, out of county conferences, and competitive events. You can sponsor a child or a whole team!
Provide a scholarship for Summer Camp: $240.00
Sponsor a youth for an Out-of-County Weekend Conference: $75.00
Sponsor a Competitive Team (such as Challenge Bowl, Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging, Poultry Judging, or SAFE Archery): $350.00

Adults want to join in the fun too?
Join our Volunteer Program! Volunteer Leaders are a crucial part of the growth and execution of our programs and have the opportunity to assist in a variety of ways. Volunteer Leaders must be at least 18 years of age, agree to be properly screened, and if selected attend our chaperone training. To be considered, please complete our Volunteer Application and return to:
