Terrell County Extension Office:
4-H Youth Development
What is 4-H?
The Georgia 4-H program is part of the educational outreach of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the world. Today, 4-H is urban and suburban as well as rural. We teach life skills such as leadership, citizenship, and public speaking. We are proud of our beginnings as corn and tomato clubs, but 4-H has evolved over the years to teach about computers, recycling, photography, dog care, teamwork and many other topics
relevant to Terrell County's youth.
