Cloverleaf District Project Achievement Participants

Members are listed by school, project and placing. 

Five students from JR Trippe Middle School attended.  Jenna Wheeler (Food for Health & Sport) and Carla Carr (Cat Care) placed second.  Kenny Jacobs (International) and Rayonna Calloway (Veterinary Science) placed third and Austin Dunn (Outdoor Recreation) received honorable mention. 

Lyons Upper Elementary School was represented by six students.  Haley Mayes       placed first in the Rabbits project.  Macy Thornton (Kitchen Fun) and Cheyenne Walden (Sports) received second place.  Participants placing third included Heaven Bacon (Clothing and Textiles), Elexus Russell (Dairy Foods), Catharine Domingo (Health), Dylan Oglesby (History) and Cassey Reese (Safety).  Those receiving honorable mention included Selina Rivas (Arts), Meredith Jones (Human Development), Cami Childs (Bicycle), Holly Hutcheson (Performing Arts-Vocal), Melanie Garcia (Wildlife) and Kara Hayes (International). 

Ten members from Sally Meadows Elementary School attended.  Nathan Noe placed first in Forest Resources & Wood Science.  Participants receiving second place were Zeel Mekta (International), Joshua Sowell (Outdoor Recreation), Austin Fike (Outdoor Survival Skills), Lakia Henry (Paleontology) and Austin Perkins (Forest Resources & Wood Science).  Those receiving honorable mention were Summer Powell (Horse), Radaijah Day (Clothing and Textiles), Brooke Waller (Wildlife) and Rayniaya Collins (Food for Health & Sport). 

Toombs Central Participants had five participants. Calista Brogdon     placed second in the Health project.  Justin Lowe (Pork Production), Eduardo Delgado (Computers) and Gracie Braddy (Dance) placed third.  Irene Lopez (Dog Care & Training) received honorable mention. 

Toombs County Middle School was represented by twelve students. Receiving first place were LaShanna Williams (Archaeology), Jinnia Jernigan (Food for Fitness) and           

Erin Ricks (General Recreation).  Second place participants were Tyler Long (Computers), Hannah Roberts (History), Shelby Harville (Using Water Wisely) and Alanis Stephens (Workforce Preparation).  Beth Mosley placed third in the      Cat Care project.  Those receiving honorable mention were Alexis Dillard (Interior Design), Clay Morgan (Sports) and Robert Riner (Dog Care & Training).

Six Toombs County Senior 4-H members served as judges for the event.  Judges were Risa Childs, Alex Dismuke, Kayla Easley, Brittany Garcia, McKinsey McCoy and Anna McIntyre.  Other youth serving as teen leaders were Emily Earls, Katie Earls, Emily Hutcheson, Micaela Long and Lauren Mayes. 

Volunteer leader Shirley Earls and David Garrett along with Toombs County Extension staff members Jason Edenfield, Lesli Garrett and Cheryl Poppell served as chaperones for this year’s event.  The staff would like to congratulate each member on their achievement.
