Twiggs County Extension Office

MissionTwiggs County

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, youth and families.

The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension programs improve the quality of life of all citizens through increased understanding and use of up-to-date, scientific research-based information. Extension helps people help themselves by providing information and programs related to agriculture, home economics, 4-H, and resource development. The major sources of information for Extension programs come from UGA’s Colleges of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Family and Consumer Sciences, the Georgia Agricultural Experiment Stations, the United States Department of Agriculture, and other land-grant colleges and universities across the nation.
