General Info
Georgia 4-H is a program of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension System. 4-H is part of a nationwide Extension network.
Georgia 4-H assists youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. 4-H'ers learn through hands-on learning experiences. These experiences focus on agricultural and environmental issues through awareness, leadership, communication skills, food, nutrition, health, energy, conservation, and citizenship.
How to Join
Any youth 5th-12th grade who either live in Upson County or attend school in Upson County are eligible to be a members of Upson County 4-H.
How much does it cost?
4-H typically does not charge dues or require uniforms. However, there may be fees associated with certain events and activities.
Other Forms
These forms need to be completed and turned into the 4-H office prior to going on any 4-H trips.
Georgia 4-H Centers
The University of Georgia 4-H program has five centers for education located in different areas of the state. Each center offers 4-H Environmental Education and Summer Camp.
