2010 Middle Georgia Forage School
The school is planned for March 9, 16 and 23 at the Upson County Extension Office. It will be held Tuesday nights starting at 7:00 p.m. On the 23rd we will start at 3:00 p.m. with a field trip and supper at 6:30 p.m. Topics to be covered will be soil fertility, economics of forages, forage establishment, weed control, hay storage and feeding, rotational grazing and shade and water. You will get 1 hour pesticide credit. Program registration is $40.00, payable to Upson County Ag. Fund. This includes a notebook, meal and cap.
