The Archway Partnership

The Archway Partnership is an innovative program that delivers the full range of University of Georgia's resources to counties facing significant issues. Known locally as simply "Archway," the partnership promotes community economic development; adapts to assist with each region's unique, expressed needs; and provides leadership by partnering with other higher education institutions, state agencies and local communities. Archway serves individuals, community organizations, business and industry, public-private partnerships, and government entities. In Washington County, 4 areas have been identified as needing a concerted effort. They are: Healthcare, Education, Economic Development and Air Quality.
