- Community Garden Application - The purpose of the community garden is to provide education in best gardening practices and provide a plot to members that have none suitable at home as well as a community worked space where produce will be shared with local organizations in need. Please fill out, sign and date. Please call (706) 278-8207 for information on selecting your plot, paying the annual fee and dropping off your application.
- Georgia Master Gardener application - the 2012 Master Gardener class will begin 2/16/12 and run through 5/3/2012 at the Murray County Extension office, for those interested in improving their gardening skills. The objective of the master gardener program is to train volunteers who have gardening experience and a desire to help others.

Testing Information
- Forage Testing - Basic test $15; includes moisture, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber, estimated crude fiber, crude protein, lignin, total digestible nutrients and relative forage quality
- Submit hays and silages in a gallon ziploc bag
- Nitrate Testing in Forages - $12
- Plant tissue - Basic test $22; includes total nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, aluminum, boron, copper, zinc, and nickel
- Leaf tissue should be placed directly into brown paper bag. Do not wrap or enclose leaves in plastic. Allow wet leaf tissue to air dry before shipment.
- Soil Testing - Basic test $10; includes pH, lime requirement, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and manganese
- Water Testing - Basic test $17; includes pH and hardness, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, aluminum, boron, chromium, copper, cadmium, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, silica, sodium and zinc.
