About International Agriculture Day
Global photos, awards and presentations are among the highlights of the annual College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences’ International Agriculture Day celebration, an annual event begun in 2011 by the Office of Global Programs.
The afternoon reception and awards program includes a keynote address featuring experts in international agriculture, nutrition and food security. The college’s most globally minded students are also recognized through the presentation of scholarships and travel awards, including the Global Citizen Award and the Kanemasu Global Engagement Award, both of which recognize students who have embraced global citizenship, as well as the announcement of the Ag Abroad Photo Contest winner.
