A biological science major, Koby Hovis plans to enroll in UGA's veterinary school after completing her undergraduate degree. To gain hands-on experience with large animals, Hovis works at the UGA dairy.

Evelyn Carr earned a UGA degree in biological science on the CAES campus in Griffin. She's now an entomology graduate student working alongside researcher Kristine Braman.

A trained EMT, Michael Ruhl earned a biological science degree from the CAES and is now working toward a master's degree in molecular entomology. He plans to enter medical school in 2009.

Erik Nkembe's interest in biology, genetics and ecology led him to major in biological science. He plans to pursue a career in medicine or in research and development at an agriculture-related company.
