Direct Deposit
UGA requires
electronic funds transfer for all payroll checks if the employee has
a checking account. This is especially important for CAES employees
located away from Athens. Payroll checks are always mailed the day
before payday, but U.S. mail connections can affect when checks are
received. Electronic funds transfer guarantees funds to be in your
account by 10:00 a.m. on payday. The UGA Payroll Department provides
an advisement to all employees who have direct deposit.
