Extension County Operations
Strategic Initiatives
UGA Cooperative Extension is constantly striving to find better ways to serve individuals and communities across the state, and to improve collaboration with our partners. Consequently, we have engaged in several strategic initiatives with the express purpose to achieve these goals. Currently, three of our most critical efforts include the Archway Partnership Project, the Association of County Commissioners (ACCG) Liaison Initiative and the School Relations Initiative. Dr. Mel Garber serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Cooperative Extension. For further information please contact Dr. Garber at (706) 542.1098 or esi@uga.edu.
