Getting Your Bearings
Welcome to "Getting Your Bearings: An Introduction to Extension."
Who can Participate?
The information on these pages can be accessed by anyone visiting the CAES website. However, the activities are only available to registered class members. If you have a UGAMyID and would like to request a guest account, please contact Dr. Mary Ellen Blackburn at: meblack@uga.edu.
To get started (Registered class members):
Step 1: Make sure your know your UGA MyID http://www.uga.edu/myid. You will need it in order to complete the activities. Your UGA MyID is your user name (the name before the @ symbol) and password for your UGA email account. (jdoe@uga.edu)
If you do not have a UGAMyID, contact your departmental / unit administrative assistant.
Site Requirements:
To automatically check your web browser for compatibility with WebCT,
visit: https://webct.uga.edu and Select "Browser Help Center" (located
below the login boxes). This will run a quick auto-check of your browser
settings. If you need additional assistance, please contact UGA EITS Help
Desk at 706-542-3106.
Step 2: Begin the course by clicking on "Getting Started" in the left menu.
To get started (Non-registered class members):
Click on "Getting Started" in the left menu.
