Getting Your Bearings
Welcome to "Getting Your Bearings: An Introduction to Extension" at the University of Georgia.
Who can participate?
The information on these pages can be accessed by anyone visiting the CAES website. However, the activities are only available to registered class members. If you have a UGAMyID and would like to request a guest account, please contact Dr. Marcie Simpson at simpson@uga.edu
To get started (Registered class members):
Step 1: Make sure your know your UGA MyID http://www.uga.edu/myid. You will need it in order to complete the activities. Your UGA MyID is your user name (the name before the @ symbol) and password for your UGA e-mail account.
If you do not have a UGAMyID, contact your departmental or unit administrative assistant.
Site Requirements: To automatically check your web browser for compatibility with eLC (eLearning Commons), visit: https://www.elc.uga.edu/ and log in using your MyID. Then choose the Check Browser tool from the top left. For further questions, please contact UGA EITS Help Desk at 706-542-3106.
Step 2: Begin the course by clicking on "Getting Started" in the left menu.
To get started (Non-registered class members):
Click on "Getting Started" in the left menu.
