Get Well Wishes

A Thank You letter from Debbie Hawkins, secretary in Bartow County

Words cannot express my appreciation to all of you for your prayers, cards, gifts, phone calls and shared leave! I couldn't have come through this stress-free without your help. The shared leave program is phenomenal. I have completed all of my surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation successfully. I'm back at work 40 hours a week and feeling stronger every day! If I can ever help any of you, please do not hesitate to call on me. Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

A Thank You Letter from Dimple B. Forrest, Lamar County Extension Secretary

To: My Extension Family

Thank you for the cards, phone calls, e-mails and donations for my daughter, Jan. We spend a lifetime collecting our “stuff” that a house fire can destroy so quickly. My family has been deeply touched by your kindness and thoughtfulness. The Extension Family is truly a caring family and the nicest people to know and work with.

As we start the New Year, remember to spend time with your loved ones. We are so blessed that Jan and her room-mate (Sharon) are well, in grad school and moving into a house this weekend.

Thanks for Everything
