Landscape professionals who want to make sure they make the right bid for the job should attend computer software training workshops March 13 -14 at Conner Hall on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.

Participants will learn bidding strategies, estimating fixed and variable costs and contract formatting using two software programs developed by UGA horticulturists and economists. You don't have to have prior computer knowledge to use the software.
The March 13 workshop will be on installation bids. The March 14 one will be on follow-up maintenance bids. Workshops start at 8:30 a.m. each day.
