Georgia cattle farmers, both large and small scale, will learn useful research-based information at the annual University of Georgia Mountain Beef Cattle Field Day April 20 in Blairsville, Ga.
Topics will include forages, beef cattle efficiency and beef quality assurance. Market trends, stocker feeding, EPDs and prudent antimicrobial use of antibiotics will also be covered.
There is no charge for the field day. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The field day is co-sponsored by AgGeorgia Farm Credit, Godfrey’s Feed and Resaca Sun. For more information, call (706) 745-2655.
