Learning how to preserve homegrown produce will be the focus of the next Saturday at the Rock workshop set for June 8 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton.
The class is set for 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and will be led by Denise Everson, a family and consumer sciences agent with University of Georgia Cooperative Extension. Everson will share research-based recipes and provide instructions on safe methods for food preservation.
The cost of the program is $10 per person. Advanced registration is required by calling (706) 484-2862 or emailing email@example.com. Participants must be 11 years of age or older.
