Associate Dean for Research Finalists

Four Finalists announced for the position of Associate Dean for Research, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences

Finalists have been announced in the search for the Associate Dean for Research.

Finalists will visit campus in March to meet with members of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and UGA community, and each will make a public presentation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

The finalists and the dates of their presentation are:

Kitty Cardwell

Professor of Microbial Forensics and Director of the National Institute of Microbial Forensics for Food and Agricultural Biosecurity at Oklahoma State University, Mar. 21, Georgia Center room Q.

Allen Moore

Professor of Evolutionary Genetics, Distinguished Research Professor, and Head, Department of Genetics in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia, Apr. 3, Georgia Center room Q.

Laura Lavine

Professor, Department of Entomology and Assistant Director, College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences Office of Research and Agricultural Research Center at Washington State University, Mar. 28, Georgia Center room R.

Eric Triplett

Professor and Chair, Microbiology and Cell Science Department, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida, Mar. 30, Georgia Center room Y-Z.
