Applied Biotechnology is a major that gives you the opportunity to study science on the edge of innovation, technology and even science itself. Think cloned cows and edible vaccines. Cool, right? In the first two years of the Applied Biotech major, you’ll learn how to extract DNA and proteins and study molecular genetics. Later, you can choose a concentration in animal science, applied economics, food science or plant science. Plus, this is the perfect program if you want a pre-med, pre-pharmacy, pre-vet or pre-law focus to your bachelor’s degree.
Sound like your kind of science degree? Check out more info below or go ahead and apply now to study Applied Biotechnology.
