Connecting to Your Web Site
Effective April 17, 2007 connection keys will no longer be needed. Please view the information in both Remove Contribute Connections and Create a New Connection.
To connect to your site:
- Open Contribute.
- If the ID prompts do not begin, please view Create a New Connection.
- If you get a message that Contribute is trying to communicate with 128.192.110.193, please view Remove Contribute Connections.
- Enter your ID information for the Publishing Server. This is your unique ID and Password provided by OIT (For instance: ID = jdoe, Password = ****). This is the only login screen where your userId is just your userID and does not need the caesad\userID prefix. All other logins do require the caesad\userID prefix.
Your password will remain the same for all logins. The first time you logon, Select Trust this Server. Click OK. Subsequent logins should not require this step.
Note: Never select 'Remember password'.

- Enter your ID information for the WebDAV server. This is "caesad\" plus your unique ID and Password (For instance: ID = caesad\jdoe, Password = ****). Click OK.

- Once Contribute recognizes your connection, select CAES UGA Contribute from underneath "Begin Editing" on the start screen.

- Enter your ID information to browse the website. This is "caesad\" plus your unique ID and Password. Click OK.

- Choose your site from the Contribute Connection Portal: Content Managers. Scroll through the page until you find your site, then click on it.

Your site will open and will be ready to edit.
