Create a New Connection

Effective April 17, 2007 connection keys will no longer be needed.

Steps to Establish a New Connection

This will set up a new connection to the CAES UGA Contribute area. After you've done this, you may return to this connection at any time by opening Contribute.

1. Open Contribute*.
   
2. Enter "connect:oitstage.caes.uga.edu" in the address bar.
3. Select "Go."
4. Follow the steps in Connecting to Your Web Site to enter your ID and password.

* If you get a message that Contribute is trying to communicate with an address including 128.192.110.194, follow the steps to Remove a Contribute Connection.

Troubleshooting

• I've added this new connection, but when I click on the connection key I still cannot get in. What do I do?
  This connection method does not use a connection key. You should delete any connection key that was provided to you by the CAES Web Team before April 17, 2007. In order to open Contribute, always click on the purple "C" icon or go to Start > Programs and choose Contribute.
