Reporting Problems
If you are experiencing a problem within Contribute, please be as descriptive as possible when reporting the problem. This can include the steps that led you to the error and screenshots of error messages.
Screenshots
Screenshots refer to image files of the picture rendered on your monitor at a certain time. Creating an image file of what you are seeing (error messages, document windows, etc.) can be valuable diagnostic tools. Instructions for taking screenshots on both PC and Mac are explained below.

PC: Simply hit the Print Screen button, located in the top right-hand section of the keyboard, typically positioned above the Insert button.
This places a copy of the image on your clipboard. Next, you will need to paste the image into a document. Open a text editing program like Microsoft Word and paste the image into a document (Ctrl + V).
You may then attach the document containing the image file to an email and send this to contrib@uga.edu. Some email clients will allow you to paste images directly in the text area.

Mac: Hold Command+Shift+4 to activate the image grabbing feature. Click and drag a box over the portion of the screen you would like to capture, then release the mouse button.
This will save the selected potion of the screen as an image to the desktop. You may then attach this image file to an email.
