Steps that counties, departments, units and other CAES organizations must take in order to develop or retrofit their Web sites using the new design:

- Work with the Web team to acquire Macromedia Contribute software.

- Counties: Send one person per county office to a Web team training session in the Spring of 2006. Templates and guidelines for developing county Web sites will be provided.
- Departments and Units: Based on the information submitted through the Web Project Proposal system, the Web team will provide information, trainings, templates and guidelines.
- Train to use templates via Macromedia Contribute software.
- Site and content managers maintain site via Macromedia Contribute software.
Note: All CAES Web sites must adhere to the college’s minimum requirements and appropriately use the college templates. Please contact the Web team for further details or assistance.
It is strongly advised that initial plans for any site redesign include the Web team, as shared resources may eventually be needed. This is to ensure that all key information is communicated up front with college groups and external parties.
