Benchmark for county Web sites
Over 100 counties using CAES templates
As of May 28, 2008, there were 100 Cooperative Extension county offices with LIVE Web sites in the CAES template system and that number has continued to grow. We applaud all of the trained Web content managers for the great job they are doing creating and maintaining their county Web sites using the Contribute software!
You can find the latest Contribute newsletter featuring newly released county Web sites, helpful tips, training information and much more at Contribute Resource Guide: Monthly Newsletter. Or, contact the Contribute Help Desk for more information and technical support.

Biofuel research news
Featured on Georgia FACES
The University of Georgia's work on the second generation of biofuels was honored in Washington, D.C., recently at the second annual BioEnergy Awareness Days. Of the 30 universities in attendance, UGA was one of 13 selected as a Grand Challenge winner.
Researchers from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences displayed their work on algae, chicken fat, fuel pellets, remote-controlled tractors and rotten fruit. Their emphasis was on Georgia-based commodities that aren't being used as food sources. The Office of Communications was on hand to document the event.

Summer public service announcements
Extension radio public service announcements
A set of Extension radio public service announcements for summer are posted and ready for agents to use with their local radio stations. You can find this quarter's PSAs on-line at Marketing Extension: Resources: Public Service Announcements.
Look for new Extension radio PSAs each quarter. There is one for each program area: ANR, FACS and 4-H, plus one spot that is horticulture specific.
If you have ideas for good PSAs, send them to John Harrell at jharrell@uga.edu.
