Listserv: College-wide Distribution Lists
Purpose
The purpose of these email lists is to make it easier to efficiently communicate with defined groups of CAES faculty, staff, and associates. Specifically, these lists are to be used for the purpose of distributing official email messages relevant to CAES business operations and programs. These are not discussion lists, therefore any reply message is returned to the original sender only and not to the entire list. Membership in a particular list is not necessarily an indicator of that individual's job or group classification. Before distributing a message carefully consider the audience and ensure that the information being sent is pertinent to the membership. Do not use these lists to send frivolous, offensive or confidential information.

Attachments
For security and capacity management reasons attachments are not allowed to be sent to the email distribution lists. Instead, attachments can be made available for download by using the CAES Attachments Web site. Simply login, (you must create an account for this site if you have not already done so) and follow the instructions. Within seconds you will be given a web link to include in your email message. Once your audience receives your email message they can click on the provided web link to access the attachment for download or viewing.
