Common Page Elements

Header Information

The header information on all web pages is displayed with a light gray background. The header graphic that appears on every web page uses UGA-approved branding elements.

On central CAES web pages, the University of Georgia logo links to the UGA home page. Audience-associated links appear in the header that link to information relating to CAES Campuses, Students, Alumni and Faculty/Staff. Clicking on the magnifying glass icon opens a search box.

On subsites, the College logo links to the CAES home page. Clicking on the magnifying glass icon opens a search box.

Local Navigation

Local navigation is below the header and features the site title and a dark gray horizontal bar. The site title links to the associated home page. The dark gray horizontal bar lists the relevant core navigation for that website. On central CAES web pages, the core navigation is Academics, Departments, Research, Extension & Outreach, Global and About.

Once the user makes a selection, the web page will display additional local navigation in the far right column. This navigation highlights the section you are visiting and pages within that section.

Essential Tools and Footer Information

The footer information on all web pages is displayed with a light gray background. All links in the footer are associated with the central CAES website. A list of site navigation items includes Sitemap, A-Z Index, Personnel Directory, Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement. Social media icons allow the user to connect with CAES. The University of Georgia logo links to the UGA home page.

Essential tools are listed in the dark gray horizontal bar. That navigation includes links to the Intranet for Faculty and Staff, CAES News, CAES Events and CAES Home.

At the bottom of each page is the copyright notice.
