  • Jun 26 ServSafe Manager Certification Georgia requires at least 1 food service manager on staff to successfully complete a food safety training program and pass an ANSI-CFP exam. ServSafe Certification is effective for 5 years. This Certification covers the latest FDA Food Code updates and is based on a new job task analysis developed exclusively by industry experts. This course focuses intently on the preventative measures to keep food safe, leading to stronger food safety practices and a better trained workforce. A textbook is loaned to you. You will be contacted by email to coordinate pickup at the campus nearest to you about 1-2 weeks prior to class. Please try to keep the textbooks in good condition. They will be collected prior to taking the certification test that is included at the end of class. Course is hosted by Coastal Pines Technical College. Instruction led by Appling Co. UGA FACS Agent, Carrie Vanderver.
