Superior Landfill Gas to Energy Plant Tour

The one-hour tour is developed with teachers in mind and will showcase the renewable energy facility, the structure of a landfill and landfill environmental protection elements. Attendees will view landfill operations from various perspectives and see where enough renewable energy is generated to power up to 5,000 area homes. In addition, visitors will also have an opportunity to view the newly certified Wildlife Habitat Council Corporate Lands for learning community project around the lake and onsite wetlands.
