2008 was an extremely busy year for the entire staff of the ACC Extension Office. From Agriculture out-reach to Energy Education, the office staff reached 49,168 people within the Athens-Clarke Community. Mission
Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.
The Athens-Clarke County Extension responds to the people's needs and interests in Agriculture, Horticulture, the environment, families, and 4-H/youth in Georgia with unbiased, research-based education. We link the resources of The University of Georgia, Athens-Clarke County and USDA.
