Horticulture Building

The Horticulture Building is located in close proximity to the historic Agricultural Research, Tift and Administration buildings on Tifton's front campus.

The Horticulture Building is home to the Department of Horticulture, as well as the majority of UGA Cooperative Extension specialists from across disciplines. This includes faculty, staff and students from the departments of Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology, and Plant Pathology. The Tifton Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic is also located in the Horticulture Building.

Promoting the "team" concept that helps define UGA Extension, the close proximity of work spaces for specialists facilitates better interdisciplinary communication, collaboration, and creative and broad solutions to problems faced by Georgia growers. Efficient interactions with our county agents and others in the agricultural community are the result.

The Horticulture Building is also used for teaching graduate and undergraduate classes.
