The Garden combines research with demonstration to achieve its mission of Cultivating Minds and the Environment. Research plots are scattered throughout the 65 acre facility. Here, faculty with UGA's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences develop and evaluate landscape plant varieties, pest management strategies, and landscape management practices - all in concert with preserving and improving environmental quality.
The focal point of the Garden is the Demonstration Area a beautifully arranged series of theme gardens. Here, our research results are put to work and are on display for all to learn and enjoy.
