Nominations and applications for the Advancing Georgia’s Leaders in Agriculture and Forestry Program Class of 2025-2026 will open on June 1! Applications will be accepted through July 31. Participants will be selected through a nomination, application, and interview process. Anyone can serve as a nominator and submit their contact information along with the nominee's contact information with a written statement of support through this form.Prospective candidates should be actively involved in Georgia’s agriculture, forestry, natural resources and/or supporting industries and have demonstrated leadership potential. While there is no minimum education requirement, participants should be able to demonstrate leadership experience, work experience, and a high level of maturity, being the age of 25 years or older. Nominees will be invited to apply, and no more than 40 finalists will be invited to interview for the class.Each class will have up to 25 individuals diverse in age, gender, ethnicity, geographic location, professional background, and level of experience.

Save the Date for our annual Public Open House at the Trial Gardens at UGA!Saturday, June 8th from 9AM until 12PM, we invite you to come and enjoy the garden and all the new trials for 2024!June is a lovely time to see our freshly planted annuals and perennials flowering in our garden beds, planters, and hanging baskets.We will offer Garden Tours on the hour at the gazebo, as well as a Plant Sale in the Garden.Parking is free on weekends, and admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.Every year is new and different here at the Trial Garden, and we hope you will kick off the season with us once again!University of Georgia is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Veteran, Disability Institution. As the birthplace of public higher education, we cannot promise any answers to those burning questions, but we do hope to provide some relief for you and any other Auburn-area alumni on Monday, June 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Auburn Hotel. We hope you will join us to share what you have been up to since graduation, hear about the exciting things CAES has been up to, and we may even call the Dawgs while we are at it!
